Overview
Elizabeth Green grew up in the long shadow of her brother, controversial British billionaire Sir Philip Green. While she never lacked materially, her childhood was marked by emotional absence. The walls of her mother’s flat were covered with newspaper clippings celebrating Philip’s success, leaving Elizabeth feeling invisible. Searching for love and validation, she moved through London, India and New York, believing that romance would fill the void.
In 1975 she travelled to Poona, India, donning orange robes and sitting at the feet of guru Bhagwan Rajneesh. Back in London, she entered a 23-year marriage and became the mother of three children, her greatest achievement. After divorce and a move to New York, Elizabeth finally recognises that the love she sought externally was within her all along
